The Sacred Ceremony of the Kiva took place during the eighth edition of the Roots of the Earth gathering from November 10th to 13th. The ceremony was performed in an ideal place along the outskirts of Rancagua, surrounded by millennial trees, guardians and givers of life.
Over 4,000 people gathered around a prayer for the unity of all efforts and wisdom to protect the Cosmic Mother, for the preservation of everyone who inhabits her, and especially for originary communities.
Spiritual leaders from various Ancestral Communities issued ceremonies, payments, prayers, word circles, and different workshops oriented toward planting a strong identification with the values and standards of a practical wisdom which connects us to our spiritual roots, in the hearts of participants.
A call to every being to become part of the fight for the preservation and protection of life and sacred territories was the great message that indigenous elders shared with us during every activity.
The World Conscious Pact activists played an important role in this event. They distributed mass amounts of vegan, cruelty free food throughout four days at the gathering. They closed the ceremony with the participation of the Ahimsa Group, who use music to promote a conscious message and reach hearts, in order to inspire everyone to become Naturagentes, – Guardians of Mother Earth.
